Performing Arts Resources
Calderdale College has better performing arts resources than many universities, including two 100 seat studio theatres, one of which is brand new and has state of the art lighting and sound equipment. We also have new drama and dance studios, changing rooms, costume room, a technical theatre space, and workshops for set and properties manufacture.

We currently stage around 12 major student productions a year as well as a number of professional performances staged by visiting companies. These productions provide a wide range of performance opportunities for students studying on our acting and dance courses, as well as forming the focus for students studying theatre technology, stage management and stage design.
