HOST FAMILIES NEEDED

Calderdale College urgently need host families for our overseas students. Can you help or do you know anyone who can provide suitable temporary accommodation?

Who can be a host family?

Anyone who can provide a friendly welcome, who is English speaking and who lives within reasonable travelling distance of Calderdale College by public transport.

What do host families do?

They provide a clean room in their home, half board (breakfast and evening meal) during the week and full board (breakfast, lunch and evening meal) at weekends. They also provide support especially in the first few days.

How much do host families get paid?

They get paid £80 per week.

When are host families needed?

They are needed throughout the year for long and short-term (minimum 4 weeks) students. We also need hosts for our Summer School during July and August. The minimum stay for Summer School is 2 weeks, the maximum 8 weeks.
