The First Visual Arts Degree Show in Calderdale

::Art in the first degree:: is the exhibition of the FIRST group of final year students to complete a BA (Hons) in Visual Arts Degree at Todmorden Community College.

The BA (Hons) in Visual Arts Degree course aims to develop students into professional practicing artists through specialist studio practice, reflective journal writing and critical observations of current visual arts practice.

This will be the first year the students will be exhibiting their degree show artwork, which will include painting, sculpture, installation and print. You can look forward to viewing some very inspiring new original artwork, much of which will be for sale. On display will be an eclectic variety of work which has been growing for many years in this incredibly talented area of the UK. The degree show will be exhibited between 15th and 22nd of June, 2006 at Todmorden Community College.
